OMNS, a pivotal player in community development, was established on 26th January 2023 and inaugurated by the Honorable MLA of the Sriperumbudur Constituency during the Republic Day celebrations. Founded by a group of dedicated well-wishers in Metha Nagar, OMNS started with an initial strength of 30 members. By the end of its first year, the association significantly expanded through various community initiatives, growing to 500 members. As OMNS completes three years, the community has further flourished, reaching 1,350 members, including 45 administrative members, all committed to social responsibility.
At OMNS, we are dedicated to community development in Metha Nagar by fostering a vibrant, inclusive, and sustainable environment. Mr. Kathiravan serves as the President of the Association. He is a Government Teacher by profession, with a strong commitment to public service and community development. He also holds the position of District Secretary in JACTTO–GEO, a recognized Government Employees’ Union
Mr. Alagarsamy (Alagar) serves as the Secretary of the Association. He is a Central Government employee with a strong focus on public service and community development activities. Well known and approachable within the community, he is often the first to step forward whenever support or assistance is needed
Mr. Sasikumar serves as the Special Secretary of the Association. He is a seasoned IT professional with a strong passion for public service, particularly in supporting underprivileged individuals and needy students through food and educational assistance. In recognition of his contributions to public service, he has been conferred an Honorary Doctorate.
